Address Book is a feature used for storing the destinations of fax, e-mail, I-fax and file serves. User can store up to 1,800 destinations and link up to 5 LDAP Server.

One Pass Duplex Scanning

The IR 5075 come with the latest One Pass Duplex Scanner, which realizes simultaneous scanning of two-sided original by one paper pass. This has largely contributed to the performance improvement of high volume copying or scanning jobs. The fastest scan speed up to100-images per minute and a document feeing capacity of up to 100 sheets.

Canon's world-class leadership in image quality – capturing the highest level of detail in every document – is standard on every iR5075. The device delivers superior output quality at 1200 x 600 dpi interpolated resolution for copy and astounding 2,400 x 600 dpi in print mode, offering the most faithful reproduction of documents on the market today.

UFR II (Ultra Fast Rendering II)

Canon's UFR II (Ultra Fast Rendering II) printing algorithm minimize file processing time and achieve maximum performance. If your workgroups exclusively run Windows® 2000, XP, 2003 Server, or Mac OS X operating systems, Canon's UFR II technology may be the most efficient way for them to print documents. UFR II technology leverages the processing power found on today's powerful PCs to share the data processing load between the connected PC and the controller, speeding printing performance.

Your Central Communication Hub
With a 40GB Hard Drive and a 1GB of RAM, the iR5075 offers a 75 page-per-minute speed to meet the needs of busy corporate workgroups and departments. Acting as a central hub for the high-speed (up to 100ipm) transfer of information, the iR5075 can distribute documents as E-mail attachments, Internet-fax, Super G3 Fax transmissions (optional), forward them to File Servers, Canon imageWARE™ Databases, or to and internal image server Mail Box system for later use.

Universal Send

Cost-efficiency solution - Ideal for sharing information among workgroup members! Universal Send is a cluster of tightly integrated functions that enable users to scan hard-copy originals, convert them into digital documents, and push them to multiple destinations in a single operation. Scanned pages may be distributed as E-mails or I-faxes via the Internet, or sent to file servers or document management systems using the company's existing Local Area Network (LAN) infrastructure. (Super G3 faxing, also available as an option, is another communications mode that is covered separately in the Fax Functionality section of this document.)

Send to Myself, CC & BCC Send

If SDL or the Local Device Authentication user authentication system of SSO is set as the login service, iR5075 can automatically acquired an email address of login user by using user authentication. This saves a user effort of manual entering their own e-mail address and any possible errors associated with it. Besides, newly enhanced function - 'CC & BCC sending' provides additional sending mode to users.

Job Forwarding
With Job Forwarding, iR5075 can automatically route incoming documents to other devices, destinations or databases for remote reception, retrieval or archiving purposes.

By performing OCR (Optical Character Recognition) processing on scanned image enables users to search whether to create searchable PDF for the scanned document. This enables users to search the text using the file search functions of Windows, etc.

Digital Device & User Signature

The Universal Send PDF Security Feature Set provides advanced options to help prevent impersonation, unauthorized alteration, or interception of your documents. With digital device or user signature mode, recipients can be assured of the originating device or user of documents. The digital user signature option enables verification of your identity to recipients by adding your digital certificate to your documents. This mode uses the device or user signature certificate and key pair inside the machine to add a digital signature to the document, which enables the recipient to verify which device or user signed it. The recipient can verify the user that signed the document, and whether the document has been changed after it was signed.

In-house production with C-Fold / Z-Fold
Document Insertion Unit / Folding Unit provides the capability to insert pre-printed cover sheets into job streams for enhanced productivity. You can perform C-fold function and enable various output creations by simply using this new function, such as restaurant menu and direct mails in new genres, making them a more convenient size for being inserted into the envelopes. Besides, this also allows you to Z-fold A3 pages. As a result, you can prepare your financial spreadsheet or large graphic illustration for the use in business meetings and presentations easily.

iW Accounting Manager
iW Accounting Manager is an optional utility for iR5075 capable of providing comprehensive job tracking and analysis for cost accounting and workflow optimization.

Remote UI

Canon's Remote UI utility transforms a user's desktop into a remote access center for the iR5075. Simply enter the IP address of the remote device to get instant access to job status, address book, media options, program settings, and more.
